How this works: find your way around

You’ve had a look at the Welcome. Here’s the quick map of where things live, so you can get to the right place without hunting for it.

There are four main spaces. Most of what you’ll do happens in the first two.

Q&A. Where you ask This is the heart of it. Stuck on a control, unsure what’s in scope, not sure whether NIS2 even applies to you? Ask here. Every question gets a Framework tag so the right people find it, and good answers get marked as the accepted one, so the next person who searches lands straight on what worked. If you only ever use one space, make it this one.

Start Here. Where you’re standing now Orientation. The Welcome, this map, and the rules. You don’t need to come back here often. It’s the front door, not a room you live in. If you’re brand new, read the Welcome, then go ask your first question.

Feedback & Ideas. Where you shape the product (customers only) If you’re using the Askara product, this is where you tell us what’s working, what’s broken, and what you wish existed. Report a bug, request a feature, or float an idea. And vote up the ones you want to see. It goes straight to the people who build it.

Client Workspaces. Your private space with us (private, invite-only) If you’re in a paid engagement with Askara, your organisation has its own private space: deliverables, milestones, and 1:1 advisory. Only your team and Askara can see it. You’ll be invited to it directly; you won’t stumble across it.

Three ways to find something

  • Search (the magnifying glass, top right). Fastest when you know roughly what you’re after. It searches every space you can see.
  • Tags. Topics carry tags for what they’re about: every question in Q&A has a framework tag (iso27001, nis2), and many also carry a stage tag. Click a tag to see everything sharing it. For example, everything tagged iso27001, or everything tagged pre-certification. More on tags in the next pinned topic.
  • Categories. Browse a whole space (the list on the left, or the Categories button on mobile). Good for a sense of what’s there; slower than search or tags when you have a specific question.

If you’re not sure where to start

Ask one question in Q&A. Tag it with your framework (iso27001 or nis2) and, if you’re just getting going, pre-certification. That’s the whole first step. You don’t need to have read everything first; the question is how you start.
